What Rishabh Pant gifted to two men who saved his life after car accident in 2022?
New Delhi: Star India cricketer Rishabh Pant was involved in a near-fatal car accident on December 30, 2022, while travelling to his hometown Roorkee via the Delhi-Dehradun highway. As per media reports, Pant dozed off while driving the car which was speeding, and eventually hit the divider, catching fire immediately. Pant was battling for his life as he was still inside the burning car until help arrived miraculously in the form of two locals.
Rajat and Nishu were the two guys who helped Pant escape the burning car and called an ambulance for him as his condition was too critical. Pant even thanked the duo by making a special post on his Instagram account, saluting their bravery for saving his life amid a dangerous situation. Only recently it was revealed that the wicket-keeper batter had also gifted scooters to the duo for giving him a second life.
This came to light during an interview of Rajat and Nishu by 7 Cricket. A video has gone viral on the internet where the duo can be seen riding the gifted scooters at the same spot where the horrendous incident occurred. Notably, the scooters have Pant’s name imprinted on them.
