However, according to doctors, blood pressure around 120/80 mmHg is considered ideal for most healthy adults. Still, it may be helpful for people to understand the normal ranges at different ages.
Normal range of blood pressure according to age
18 to 29 years
Normal BP: 110/70 to 120/80 mmHg
At this age, it is easy to maintain normal BP with regular exercise and balanced diet.
30 to 39 years
Normal BP: 110/70 to 122/82 mmHg
Job stress, irregular routine and increasing weight can affect BP, so get checked from time to time.
40 to 49 years
Normal BP: 115/75 to 125/83 mmHg
The risk of high BP starts increasing at this age. Eat less salt and exercise daily.
50 to 59 years
Normal BP: 118/78 to 130/85 mmHg

60 years and above
Normal BP: 120/80 to 135/85 mmHg (Doctors may set different targets for some people.)
