IPL 2026 Eliminator: What Will Be Today’s Predicted 11 Of SRH vs RR And Impact Player?

The Eliminator of IPL 2026 will see a clash between the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Wednesday evening in Mullanpur.

This is the first knockout game of the playoffs, with the winner advancing to face Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 2 and the loser being knocked out of the season.

Last night in Dharamsala, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) registered a huge win over GT in Qualifier 1 to seal their place in the final.

After a slow start where they lost three out of their first four games, SRH were rampant, getting on a five-game winning streak. They ended the league stage with 18 points, same as GT and RCB, but behind those two on net run rate.

RR had a great start with four wins in as many games but tapered off a bit and were inconsistent. Still, they managed to sneak into the playoffs after winning their last league match.

All the four teams in the playoffs this season have lifted the IPL trophy only once, and all are aiming for a second IPL title.

SRH vs RR: What happened when the two teams met in IPL 2026 in the league stage?

SRH dominated RR in the league stage, winning both their encounters. First in Hyderabad, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain picked up a four-wicket haul each in the course of a 57-run victory.

In the reverse fixture in Jaipur, Ishan Kisha belted 74 (31) and Abhishek Sharma smashed 57 (29) to successfully haul down the target of 229 that RR had set on the back of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s century.

SRH vs RR contests to watch out for today: Short ball ploy by SRH pacers against Sooryavanshi-Jaiswal

During the SRH vs RR bout in Hyderabad, SRH pacers used the short ball to great effect to dismantle the dangerous RR opening duo of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Expect the likes of Pat Cummins, Eshan Malinga, Sakib Hussain, and Hinge/Harshal to go short and angle across the two RR lefty openers who would also look to take the bowlers down.

SRH vs RR: Injury news

RR captain Riyan Parag and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are dealing with niggles. While Parag is expected to play against SRH in the Eliminator, Jadeja is uncertain.

For SRH, there is no injury worry at the moment.
