Gorakhpur. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, while addressing a Hindu conference in Gorakhpur, has given such a statement which is becoming increasingly viral on social media. He appealed to the Muslim community that if they worship rivers, trees and the sun for the sake of the environment, nothing will harm them.

“What will be gained from our Muslim brothers if we do Surya Namaskar?”

Hosabale said in clear words, “From the environmental point of view, if Muslim brothers also worship the river and do Surya Namaskar, then what will be their harm? Nothing will harm them.”

He further said that if you worship rivers, earth and trees like Hindu religion, then it is unlikely that anyone will stop you from going to Eidgah or mosque. Our Hindu religion is supreme, this is the religion everyone talks about.

To further strengthen his point, Dattatreya Hosabale gave the example of Saudi Arabia and Russia. He said, “In Saudi Arabia, Muslim brothers have given their land to build a temple. In Russia, church people have given space to build a temple. We also have to explain this.”

Referring to the “divide and rule” policy of the British era, the RSS leader said that now the time has come for us to unite. He gave the slogan, “If Hindus wake up, the world will wake up, human faith will wake up.”
