What will happen when the ceasefire ends? Trump has two options, if he chooses the second one, how will it be difficult for India?
The peace talks between Iran and America in Islamabad have completely failed. US Vice President JD Vance has returned from Pakistan without any agreement. After 21 hours of discussion, Vance clearly said that America has given its last and best offer to Iran, now it is up to Tehran to take the decision. After the failure of the talks, the question now arising is what options will be left to US President Donald Trump after the two-week temporary ceasefire expires. Trump himself has given his reaction on this issue by sharing Just the News’ article on Truth Social.
Trump has two big options
The Trump administration is hinting at adopting a Venezuelan strategy on Iran. America had earlier weakened the government of Nicolas Maduro economically by imposing a siege. Now if Iran rejects the final proposal given on Saturday, then Trump can choose two ways. The first way is heavy bombing to send Tehran to the Stone Age, as Trump has already promised.
The second way is to repeat the Venezuela model, that is, to completely stall Iran’s economy by imposing a naval blockade.

American warship reaches Persian Gulf
Rebecca Grant, a national security expert at the Lexington Institute, said that it is very easy for the US Navy to monitor every ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz. In the last 24 hours, 10 ships have passed, including a Russian tanker. Oil is reaching China and India. If Iran remains adamant, the US Navy can keep a close watch on the narrow channel near Kharg Island and Oman. No ship will be able to pass without the permission of the US Navy.
This will also increase pressure on China and India because both countries import oil from Iran. The interesting thing is that the huge warship USS Gerald Ford, which led the Venezuela siege, has now reached the Persian Gulf. This warship, which was under repair due to a fire a few days ago, is now deployed with USS Abraham Lincoln and other big warships.
Kharg Island will be Trump’s main target
Trump’s main goal is to force Iran to completely abandon its nuclear weapons program. JD Vance said that till now no positive commitment has been received from Iran. Retired General Jack Keane had suggested that if war broke out again, Iran’s Kharg Island could be captured or destroyed. He wrote that if Iran’s oil export line is closed by imposing a naval siege, its economy will come to a complete halt, this will be the biggest pressure.
