After having so many accounts?

WhatsApp has said through its latest report that the accounts of 8,458,000 users in India have been closed in August. According to Rule 4(1)(d) and Rule 3A(7) of India's Electronics Act 2021, strict action has been taken against WhatsApp On account. Which are violating its rules and making them illegal under Indian law.

A total of 8,458,000 Indian accounts have been locked in WhatsApp in the month of August. Out of which 1,661,000 accounts had already been closed. After complaints from users, WhatsApp has closed these accounts because they were doing unusual activity. Which do not come under the rules of WhatsApp.

Finally, let us tell you that through its latest transparency report, WhatsApp had reported 10,707 users in August 2024. Out of which action was taken on 93 reports, users had sent these reports to the Governor's Office of India through email and post. Only after which steps have been taken.

Talking about the main reason, violation of rules comes first. Which includes sending messages, scamming, sharing things wrongly. After this, illegal activity was also seen which was considered illegal under local law and under that also the accounts were investigated.
