Initially only one-to-one call option will be available

According to media reports, at present only one-to-one audio and video calling facility will be provided on WhatsApp Web. Users may have to wait a little longer for group calling.

It is being told that the company was working on this feature for almost a year. Beta users who have got this feature say that it is very easy to use.

Users just have to open WhatsApp Web and click on the call button. The special thing is that there will be no need to download any additional software or app for this feature.

Screen sharing option will be available during video call

Screen sharing feature is also being added along with video calling on WhatsApp Web. This feature is already available in the mobile app, but now it will be included in the web version as well.

Its biggest benefit will be available during office or online meetings. Now for simple meetings, there may be less need for platforms like Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. You will be able to share your screen by making video calls directly from WhatsApp Web. When the feature of group calling is also added, then this facility will prove to be even more powerful.
