Avoid Clicking Suspicious Files: Cyber thugs in the country are adopting new tactics for fraud every day. A new way has been discovered to cheat the common people. For this, I4C, an agency working under the Home Ministry, posted on social media that how cyber thugs are making people their victims. The government has advised people to be cautious and not to open any unknown file.

What to do to avoid fraud?
Being alert is the biggest weapon to avoid fraud. If someone sends you exe and dll file on WhatsApp or you see it in any group, then do not click on it at all. These files are named as View Details, Invoice or Document. Even if you open it fraudulently, cyber thugs can send messages to your contacts and make you a victim of fraud.

Complain on 1930
If you also get messages related to this, then you can lodge a complaint on the helpline number 1930 or delete the message. That means being alert is the best way to protect yourself from fraud. These days, scammers are mostly targeting people for fraud through WhatsApp.
