You can read voice messages without listening
While sharing information about its new feature, WhatsApp said that now voice messages can be read instead of listening. Which has been named voice message transcript feature. Through this feature, people will now be able to read voice messages on WhatsApp without listening. The company has said that it will be completely secure and will generate the transcript on the device. Because of this it will end and transcribed. Let us tell you that to use this feature, users will have to turn it on first.
This way you can enable voice transcript
- First of all you have to download the latest version of WhatsApp. You can update it.
- After updating WhatsApp, open the app and go to Settings.
- Now tap on the chat option and click on voice message transcription. Now choose your preferred language.
- After this, click on any voice message and hold. After this the message transcription will start.
If users' voice messages are not being transcribed, it means that transcription is not available in that language. The company may soon release support in other languages. Currently, it will support Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, Thai, English, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian languages for iOS users.
