WhatsApp Scheduled Messages: Now the tension of staying awake all night is over, WhatsApp is bringing the feature of scheduling messages.

News India Live, Digital Desk: WhatsApp is the world’s most popular messaging platform, but one feature it always lacked was message scheduling. Currently, this feature was limited only to WhatsApp Business or third-party apps, but now the company is preparing to roll it out officially for all users. According to the latest update of February 2026, this feature has been spotted in the beta testing phase. What is the ‘Scheduled Message’ feature? (The Magic Update) With the help of this feature, you can type a message in any chat (personal or group) and put it in ‘line’ for a specific time. As soon as your scheduled time comes, WhatsApp will automatically send the message without you having to do anything. How will this feature work? (Step-by-Step) According to reports, its interface will be very simple: Open Chat: Open the chat of the person or group to whom you want to send the message. Type the message: Type your message (text, emoji or media). Clock icon: A new ‘clock’ or ‘Schedule’ icon will appear near the message box. Select the time: Select the date and time when you want to send the message using the calendar and clock. Confirm: Schedule button As soon as you press the message, it will go to a ‘pending’ section. 3 big benefits of scheduling Birthday and anniversary wishes: You can write wishes weeks in advance, so that even if you forget, WhatsApp does not forget. Professional reminders: This is best for sending important office updates or meeting reminders at the right time. No more time zone worries: If any of your friends lives abroad, you can send them as per their waking time. You can schedule messages as per your requirement. It will be easy to manage (Management Section) WhatsApp has also taken care of privacy and control. There will be a new ‘Scheduled Messages’ section in ‘Chat Info’ where you will be able to: See all your pending messages. Edit them before sending. If plans change, you will also be able to delete the message (without the other person knowing). When will this feature be available? Currently this feature is seen on iOS beta version 26.7.10.72. It is expected that it will be available to all Android and iPhone users in the next few weeks. This feature will be completely free.
