In which smartphones WhatsApp will not work?
From the new year, WhatsApp will not work in those smartphones which are running on Android KitKat or older versions. This means that if your phone is based on this operating system, you will have to upgrade to a new phone. WhatsApp says that the hardware of these devices is no longer compatible with the new features coming to the app.

The smartphones that WhatsApp plans to end support for include:

Users of these devices will have to purchase an upgraded smartphone to continue using WhatsApp.

Not just Android, WhatsApp is also planning to end support for iPhones running iOS 15.1 and older. This will affect users of iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone 6. According to reports, iPhone users have time till May 5, 2025 to upgrade their devices.
