Expressing his strong reaction on this matter, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on social media that this comment made by the Uttar Pradesh Congress President regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only indecent, unparliamentary and unforgivable, but also exposes the deep political bad values ​​of the Congress. He further said that this is not the first time, but in the past even the ‘Crown Prince’ of Congress has shown his bad manners. CM Yogi described the current situation of Congress as reaching the peak level of despair, hopelessness, frustration and mental bankruptcy. He also emphasized that now the situation of Congress is not such that it can even apologize to the countrymen.

BJP MP Arun Govil also attacked Ajay Rai

BJP MP from Meerut Arun Govil also strongly condemned Ajay Rai’s statement. He wrote in his social media post that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always maintained a sense of respect and decency even towards his political opponents. Govil mentioned the incident when Ajay Rai was admitted in the hospital and Prime Minister Modi had wished for his speedy recovery. He said that despite this, the abusive language used publicly by Ajay Rai against the Prime Minister today is not only a gross violation of political decorum, but it also seriously hurts the dignity of democratic dialogue. Arun Govil also raised questions on Congress’s claim of ‘love shop’ and said that those who claim to run such a shop should first ensure the place of civility, restraint and respect in their politics and the language of their leaders. He clarified that Indian politics may be a battle of ideas, but the decline of language can never be accepted.

This entire episode has once again sparked a debate on the declining level of political rhetoric, where the BJP has attacked the Congress and raised serious questions on its morality and political culture.
