‘Ikkis’: When and where to watch Dharmendra’s last film on OTT

Ikkis is the debut film of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and also marks the last on-screen appearance of the late legendary actor Dharmendra.

The war drama was first planned to release in cinemas on 25 December 2025, but later it was pushed to 1 January 2026. After release, it got a good response from both audiences and critics.

This biographical film is directed by Sriram Raghavan. It is written by Pooja Ladha Surti, Sriram Raghavan and Arijit Biswas.

At first, the film is available on Amazon Prime Video on rent. Viewers had to pay an extra Rs 349 even if they had a subscription. But now, from 26 February 2026, the film will be available to stream for free for subscribers.

The story revolves around 21-year-old Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, played by Agastya. He is a young army officer who goes to fight in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

During the Battle of Basantar, Arun fights very bravely and destroys many enemy tanks. Even after his own tank gets hit and catches fire, he does not stop.

He keeps fighting till his last breath. Later, he becomes the youngest soldier to receive India’s highest bravery award, the Param Vir Chakra.

The ensemble cast includes Dharmendra as Brigadier Madan Lal Khetarpal, Jaideep Ahlawat as Brigadier Jaan Mohammad Nisar, Jitendar Singh as Sowar Nand Singh, Shree Bishnoi as Sowar Parag Singh, Vijender Singh as ALD Nathu Singh, and Madhusudan Bishnoi as Sowar Bishwanath Singh.

The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Binny Padda, Poonam Shivdasani and Sharada Karki Jalota under Maddock Films.
