Chiranjeevi is one of the most successful actors of Indian cinema. In a career spanning over four decades, he has worked in many Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada films. Megastar Chiranjeevi has now become a Guinness World Records holder. Chiranjeevi has received this world record honour for performing 24000 dance moves in 537 songs of his 156 films in 45 years of his acting career. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan gave this award to Chiranjeevi and on this occasion Aamir was seen praising him.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has won many awards in his illustrious career, but now his name has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the most successful film star in the Indian film industry. He officially received this honor on 22 September. Everyone in India is happy with Chiranjeevi’s name being included in the Guinness World Records. This honor has been given to the megastar by none other than superstar Aamir Khan.

Aamir Khan is a fan of Chiranjeevi

This event was organized in Hyderabad on Sunday, in which Aamir Khan attended as a special guest. Aamir Khan praised Chiranjeevi while giving him the Guinness World Record certificate. Aamir Khan hugged the megastar and praised him saying, “It is a matter of pleasure and honor for me to come here. I am happy to see Chiranjeevi ji and his fans and thank you all for including me among you, because I am also a big fan of his.”

Aamir sees Chiranjeevi as his elder brother

Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan further said, “I consider him my elder brother. When Chiranjeevi called me and wanted to invite me to this event, I don’t know why he invited me and I had already told him that you just have to order, there is no request. I am very happy that Chiranjeevi was given this honour.”

“No one looks at heroines before Chiranjeevi”

Talking about Chiranjeevi’s dance moves, Aamir Khan said, “If you watch any of his songs, you will see that he enjoys his dance a lot. No one can dance like Chiranjeevi and when he dances, he does it with all his heart and then no one looks at the heroine in front of him.”

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness on receiving this honour and said that he had never thought that he would become a Guinness World Record holder. He also thanked the fans for this world record.

Chiranjeevi started his film career with the film ‘Pranam Khareedu’ released in 1978. However, he had earlier signed the film ‘Punadhirallu’, which was released in 1979. He has worked in more than 150 films in his career so far. Chiranjeevi has been awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2006 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2024. He holds the record for the most hit films in the Telugu industry.
