Kanpur: After his desire to get admission in IIT was not fulfilled, a student hacked the websites of IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras. It is being told that the student was trying to get admission in IIT for a long time, but after not getting admission, he targeted the websites of both the institutes to show his technical ability.

According to the information, after hacking the website, the student also left a message there. In this message he appealed to the institute to give him “a chance”. This incident has been taken seriously by both institutions and the entire matter is being internally reviewed.

According to sources, the main objective of the student was to get admission in IIT. When he did not get admission, he allegedly tried to demonstrate his technical ability by hacking into the institute’s website. In the message left on the website, he also requested to be given an opportunity for admission.

Preparation to strengthen digital security

After the incident, both the institutions are reviewing their cyber security systems. Officials say that the digital security system will be further strengthened to prevent such incidents in future.

Admission process completed, now admission is not possible

It has been clarified by the institute that the admission process for the current academic session has been completed. In such a situation, now the student cannot be given admission under any circumstances.
