When India stopped water, Pakistan got upset! Bilawal’s party threatened war

There is a stir in Pakistan after the decision of the Indian Government to postpone the Indus Waters Treaty. This strict step taken by India after the Pahalgam terrorist attack has shaken the foundation of the neighboring country. According to the latest news, once again the fire of protest regarding this issue has flared up in Pakistan. Bilawal Bhutto’s Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has started massive protests in Sindh province, where its workers are raising slogans of ‘No one will spare Sindhu’. The protesters who took to the streets from Karachi to Shikarpur say that they will die, but will never give up their claim on Indus waters.

‘There is no option left except war’

The state of panic in Pakistan is such that its leaders have now started directly threatening war. Sindh Government Minister Saeed Ghani described Indus water as Pakistan’s ‘lifeline’ and said that if India stopped the water, Pakistan would not keep quiet. Quoting an old speech of Bilawal Bhutto, he roared that if the Pakistani people did not get water and food, they would have no other option but war.

Why did India take such a big decision?

This step of India is not against the people of Pakistan, but against the government there which uses terrorism as a weapon. According to the report of ‘International Center for Peace Studies’, Pakistan is continuously spewing venom against India and promoting terrorism from across the border. Repeated military aggression and anti-India statements have completely destroyed the spirit of the Indus Water Treaty, due to which India has been forced to take this tough stand.

Pak leaders’ blabbering about ‘rivers of blood’

Pakistan’s leaders have been threatening India for a long time. Recently, Climate Change Minister Musadiq Masood Malik even said that ‘Whoever touches our water, his hands will be cut off.’ At the same time, Pak Army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary threatened that if the water was stopped, they would stop India’s ‘breathing’. Even terrorist Hafiz Saeed has threatened to ‘shed blood in rivers’ if water is stopped. It is clear that this decision of India has exposed all those elements of Pakistan who understand the language of threats instead of diplomacy.
