When India’s most famous publicist got lost on a warship!!!

Dale Bhagwagar, Bollywood’s most prominent publicist, once found himself lost on the decommissioned Indian warship, the earlier version of INS Vikrant. Commissioned in 1961, this British-built aircraft carrier played a significant role in India’s 1971 victory over Pakistan, particularly during the airstrikes and naval blockade of East Pakistan.

The ship was decommissioned in 1997 after years of service and later converted into a museum from 2001 until 2012. Unfortunately, due to safety concerns and lack of funding, it was scrapped in 2014, and now a new Indian-built (indigenous) aircraft carrier carrying the same name has been launched.

Dale launched his PR agency handling an event on the top deck on the earlier INS Vikrant. But when he was at the event, despite its well-lit and clean interiors, twice, Dale struggled to find his way through its maze of compartments, ultimately getting confused as he sought the upper decks.

His tale of finally finding his way out makes an amusing story, underlining the challenges of navigating such a massive vessel. You can read about his first-hand experience on the decommissioned INS Vikrant HERE.
