According to the information received, Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November in India. On this day in the year 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted. After the independence of the country on 15 August 1947, the need for a constitution was felt. It took two years, 11 months and 18 days to prepare the Constitution.
After which the Constitution of the Republic of India was ready on 26 January 1949. However, it was officially implemented on 26 January 1950. This day is celebrated every year as Republic Day.

Who created the Constitution?
According to political experts, the credit for the creation of the Indian Constitution is given to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Baba Saheb was the chairman of the drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly. He is also called the father of the Indian Constitution. There were 389 members in the Constituent Assembly and Dr. Rajendra Prasad was its President.
