When is Rath Yatra, Gupt Navratri and Ekadashi in July? Note the date, see the complete list of fasts and festivals
The month of July is going to be very special. Many important fasts and festivals (July 2026 Vrat Tyohar List) will be celebrated. Chaturmas is also about to begin. Guru Purnima and Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will also be celebrated. The holy month of Sawan will begin at the end of July. Ashadh Gupt Navratri will also be celebrated in this month. Many planets and constellations will also change their movements.
Two Ekadashi fasts will be observed in July. The fast of Yogini Ekadashi will be observed on 10th July and Devshayani Ekadashi on 25th July. Pradosh Vrat will be observed on 10th July and 26th July. On July 4, Venus will enter Leo. Sun will transit in Cancer on 16th July and Saturn will transit in Pisces on 27th July. Saturn will be retrograde and Jupiter will set. The movement of planets will affect all the 12 zodiac signs.
When is Rath Yatra?
Lord Jagannath’s bathing yatra is on 29th June, on the full moon day of Jyeshtha month. Eye donation will be taken out on 15th July and Rath Yatra will be taken out on 16th July. The 10-day fair will also begin from this day. The festival will conclude with the return journey on 24th July. This time the possibility of Cancer Sankranti is also being formed on the day of Rath Yatra. On this day, Sun is going to transit in Cancer.
When is Gupt Navratri?
Gupt Navratri is celebrated twice a year. Ashadh Gupt Navratri is starting from 15th July 2026. Navami Tithi is on 23rd July 2026. During this period 10 Mahavidyas are worshipped. Worship rituals are performed secretly.
