In the show Aapki Adalat, the anchor asked Salman Khan, ‘During the shooting of Sultan, you had a scooter with you, did you disappear in the village with that scooter?’ On this Salman Khan said, ‘Yes sir, the shot was taking time. We were shooting in Morna, UP, which is about two and a half to three hours away from Delhi. So the shot was taking time, I was fond of riding a scooter, so I thought let’s take a round of the village. I left, the place was so beautiful while walking, so I kept walking, kept walking..’
Salman Khan further said, ‘Then I saw on the way that some children were going towards school with heavy school bags. So I turned the scooter, made everyone sit and dropped them to school. His school was near where our shooting was taking place. Box office collection of ‘Sultan’
The film Sultan was released on 6 July 2016, which was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, while its production was handled by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films. Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma were seen in lead roles in the film, while actors like Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh and Kubra Seth also played important roles.
According to Sacnilk, the budget of the film Sultan was Rs 80 crores while the film collected Rs 607.84 crores at the worldwide box office. The film did a business of Rs 421.25 crore in India and was included in the list of blockbuster films of that year.
