When slogans of ‘Rahul Gandhi Pappu…’ were raised, BJP-Congress MLAs fought in the assembly.

During the proceedings of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress clashed with each other. As soon as the House proceedings began on Friday, slogans were raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi after Ayatollah Khamenei’s posters were waved in the Assembly. Meanwhile, BJP MLAs raised slogans of ‘Rahul Gandhi is Pappu’. Congress MLAs were raising slogans of ‘Narendra Modi Hi Hi’. Meanwhile, MLAs from both the parties came face to face and sloganeering took the form of pushing and shoving. The security personnel and marshals present there handled the situation with difficulty. Now its video has become a cause for discussion on social media.

As soon as the House proceedings began, MLAs from the ruling National Conference and Congress came with many posters. Slogans like ‘PM is Compromised’ were written on these posters. Some posters had the map of Jammu and Kashmir and some also had pictures of Ayatollah Khamenei in their hands. When BJP MLAs protested against this, sloganeering started from both sides in the House. National Conference MLA Tanvir Sadiq waved pictures of Khamenei and also wore a black band with Khamenei written on it on his forehead. He came to the assembly wearing black clothes.

While sloganeering was going on, Congress MLA Irfan Hafiz Lone stood up on his seat and started raising slogans against Narendra Modi.

Seeing all this, the security personnel intervened so that the matter could be handled. However, sloganeering continued from both sides and BJP MLAs even tore posters and threw them.
