When the Congress government was in power, caste census was not conducted, if raising voice after being out of power is not pretense then what else is: Mayawati

Lucknow. BSP supremo Mayawati has targeted Congress. She wrote on social media that, Congress and Rahul Gandhi's SC/ST/OBC reservation policy is not clear but double standard and deceitful. For their votes in their own country, they support reservation and advocate increasing it above 50% and go abroad and talk about ending their reservation. People should be cautious of their double standards.

It is also true that their government at the centre did not implement the Mandal Commission report on OBC reservation. Also, due to BSP's struggle, Congress did not let the Constitution Amendment Bill, which was brought in the Parliament to make reservation in promotions of SC/ST effective, to be passed, which is still pending.

He further wrote, and neither did their government plead the case properly in the Hon'ble Court. These people should also be cautious of this anti-reservation Congress and other parties. Also, the Congress government in the Centre did not conduct caste census and now raising voice after being out of power, if all this is not hypocrisy then what is it?
