Railway officials reacted immediately and directed the staff deployed at Howrah railway station to take special precautions. As soon as Gitanjali Express reached Howrah Railway Station. Railway employees prepared a special route for this.
Four battery-powered vehicles and wheelchairs were deployed to transport the groom and his family from the new residence on Platform 21 to the old residence on Platform 9. The staff made every effort to help the groom's family reach another train as quickly as possible. Thanks to the Railways, the entire family could reach Saraighat Express without any delay. More than 12 railway employees and officers actively participated in this process. Thanks to collective efforts, the groom and his family managed to catch a train to Guwahati.
