Historical importance of Kainchi Dham

Neem Karoli Baba established Kainchi Dham on 15 June 1964 with his friend Purnanand. This ashram became a major center of spirituality for Baba's devotees. It is said that Baba often used to meditate sitting on a stone on the banks of river Shipra.
