When there was an argument over stumping, MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi told him – you don’t know anything – Read

When the best captains in the history of cricket are discussed, MS Dhoni’s name definitely comes in it. If we talk about wicketkeeping, then the former Indian captain is counted among the best keepers in the history of cricket. Many great cricketers around the world are fans of his understanding of cricket. In such a situation, if someone says that he does not know anything about cricket, that too about the rules related to wicket-keeping, then he will be surprised and will also laugh. But Dhoni has also had to face such taunts, that too from his wife Sakshi.

Dhoni, who has retired from international cricket, is seen only in IPL these days. In such a situation, when there is no IPL season, Dhoni participates as a guest in many programs in the country and abroad, where he discusses his experiences of cricket and different aspects of life and shares his opinions. In one such program, Dhoni told about this funny incident that happened with his wife Sakshi, which surprised everyone.

Sakshi said- You don’t know anything

A video of Dhoni is being seen widely on social media, in which Dhoni is sitting on the stage at an event and is telling about this story. In this video, Dhoni is telling that he and his wife Sakshi never talk about cricket at home but one day while watching the ODI match, they started discussing it. Dhoni told that a batsman was given stump out on a wide ball, which is correct under the rules.

He told that on seeing this, Sakshi said that he was not out, while the batsman was returning towards the pavilion. Dhoni told that he was explaining to his wife that stumping is considered on wide ball, whereas it is not so on no ball. On hearing just this, Sakshi said angrily – ‘You don’t know anything.’ As soon as Dhoni told this, the whole hall echoed with laughter. Dhoni further told that when the third umpire also gave out, Sakshi said that there was definitely something wrong in the rules.

Dhoni will return in IPL 2025

This video will definitely make Dhoni fans happy, but what is more happy and relieving for them is that ‘Captain Cool’ will be seen on the field for Chennai Super Kings in the next IPL season also. Dhoni had recently said in an interview that he wants to enjoy the remaining cricket in his career. After this, the doubts about Dhoni playing in the next season were also removed. This will also be officially approved on the IPL retention deadline i.e. 31st October.
