When will the 22nd installment of PM Kisan come? e-KYC and farmer ID required to get ₹2,000
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme provides ₹6,000 every year in three ₹2,000 installments to small and marginal farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
**21st Installment** was credited on November 19, 2025. No official date has been announced for the **22nd tranche** (due February 25, 2026), but given the four-month cycle and historical patterns, it is expected to arrive **from late February to March 2026**—probably by the end of the month or early March.
**e-KYC** is required for all registered beneficiaries to receive payment. The government insists on Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, verified land records and completed e-KYC; People may be expelled if they do not follow this. Kisan ID is required for new registrations only in select states where the registry is operational.
**Step-by-Step e-KYC Online**:
1. Visit the official portal pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Click on “e-KYC” on the homepage.
3. Enter Aadhaar number and captcha → Search.
4. Provide registered mobile number → Get OTP.
5. Enter received OTP → Complete verification (Confirmation SMS will come).
Alternatively, use biometric e-KYC at a nearby CSC centre.
Make sure bank details (account number, IFSC) are updated and linked to Aadhaar to avoid delays—verify at your bank branch if necessary.
Payments are made in phases; Track pmkisan.gov.in for status (Kisan Corner → Beneficiary Status or List) using registration number or Aadhaar. Complete pending formalities quickly to get ₹2,000 credit. Over 9-10 crore farmers benefit in each cycle, and ₹4+ lakh crore has been distributed so far.
