When will the situation of Indigo become normal? Company CEO Peter Albers gave information, apologized to the passengers
At present, the country’s largest airline IndiGo is under dark clouds of crisis. Hundreds of flights have been canceled for the last several days due to which thousands of passengers are facing problems. The crowd of people at the airports has worsened the situation. After flight cancellation, passengers have to pay many times more fare to book other flights. After which people’s anger is increasing.
Passengers clearly say that this entire situation is the result of the negligence of the airline, due to which the common passengers are having to suffer. Many people are stranded at airports, neither able to go back nor able to reach their destination. However, the airline has apologized to the passengers for all the troubles and has assured that operations will be normal soon.
Indigo CEO Peter Albers apologized
Amidst the continuous problems being faced by the passengers, now the statement of Indigo CEO Peter Albers has come to light. He has apologized to the people by releasing a video. He said that in the last few days we have faced many difficulties in the operation. December 5 was a very bad day as more than 1,000 flights were cancelled. I am seeking redress on behalf of IndiGo for the problems faced by the passengers. Although there are many reasons for this situation, our focus is on how we respond.
When will the situation of Indigo become normal?
Indigo CEO said that we have taken three special steps. Strengthening customer communication and support through detailed updates and increasing call center capacity; Providing assistance to stranded passengers at major airports and advising those whose flights have been canceled not to come to the airport, and performing a full operational reset to realign crew and aircraft after previous measures proved inadequate. With these actions, we hope to reduce the number of canceled flights on Saturday to less than 1,000. The support received from DGCA has been helpful, and with continued coordination, we are hopeful that there will be daily improvements and the situation will return to normal from 10 to 15 December.
