Ashwin's retirement and his career

38-year-old Ravichandran Ashwin surprised everyone on Wednesday by suddenly announcing his retirement from international cricket in the middle of the Test series against Australia.

Let us tell you that by taking 537 wickets in 106 Test matches, Ashwin made the record of taking the most Test wickets for the Indian team after Anil Kumble (619 wickets). He was a part of the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy winning Indian team. Next year in IPL, Ashwin will be seen playing for Chennai Super Kings and will continue club cricket.
