‘Where did the donations for Babri Masjid go? What happened to the land of Dhannipur? Brajesh Pathak asked sharp questions to Akhilesh Yadav
The politics of UP has completely heated up amid allegations of theft of donations in Ayodhya Ram temple. After SP President Akhilesh Yadav continuously cornered BJP, now Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has hit back and opened a new front. Brajesh Pathak has directly asked Akhilesh Yadav that where did the money that was collected for re-building Babri Masjid in Ayodhya go? Along with this, he has also raised questions on the land allotted in Dhannipur and its use.
‘It is the habit of the opposition to create hurdles in the construction of Ram temple’
Taking aim at Akhilesh Yadav, Brajesh Pathak said that people who have never visited Ram temple themselves have no moral right to speak on this issue. He alleged that SP and Congress tried to create every possible obstacle in the construction of Ram temple. Pathak reminded how Congress had tried to stop the construction by giving an affidavit in the Supreme Court. Making serious allegations against the previous Samajwadi Party government, he said that at that time bullets were fired on unarmed kar sevaks and claimed that “even Parinda would not be able to kill” in Ayodhya. Pathak said that today the opposition is making indecent remarks only to defame the Sanatan culture.
‘What is the contribution of SP?’
Brajesh Pathak challenged Akhilesh Yadav and asked what is his or his party’s contribution in the construction of Ram Temple or Kashi Vishwanath Corridor? He said that the opposition leaders never even congratulated the public on the construction of these religious places, but only pointed fingers at the Sanatan culture. He accused SP and Congress of adopting the British policy of ‘divide and rule’.
‘Give account of land and donations of Dhannipur’
Reiterating his stand, the Deputy Chief Minister asked, “Where is the donation raised for the construction of Babri Masjid? Where was the land obtained in Dhannipur used? Who gave the donation and where was that money spent?” Along with this, he also raised the issue of funding of Madrasas and corruption in Waqf properties before 2017. Pathak clearly said that appeasement politics will no longer work in the country because the Hindu society has now awakened.
He clarified that if there has been any wrongdoing, the government is committed that the culprits will not be spared and the law will take its course. Finally, he advised the opposition leaders to stop wearing the “fake band with the name of Ram” around their neck and wear the “mesh cap” and come forward in their true form and have darshan of Lord Ramlala.
