Where there is a will there is a way: Uttarakhand's shooters made a mark at the national level

The shooters of Uttarakhand proved that with hard work and strong intentions it is possible to achieve any goal. The shooters of Sniper Shooting Academy made their presence felt in competitions organized across the country on the strength of intensive training and their determination.
The shooters of the state performed brilliantly in the North Zone Shooting Championship held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi and the Open India Shooting Championship held at MP State Shooting Range in Bhopal. These competitions started from October 19 to November 29, in which a total of 39 shooters (24 rifle and 15 pistol shooters) from the Sniper Shooting Academy qualified for the National Championship with their excellent performance.

Academy Director Anil Thakur informed that the talented shooters selected for the National Championships from his academy include:
50 meter rifle shooting: Anusha Raghav
25 meter pistol shooting: Gagandeep
10m Rifle and Pistol Shooting: Vanshika, Shaurya, Aniket Thapa, Arisha, Arsh Thakur, Suhani, Chhavi, Vaishnavi, Alishwa, Manya, and Ananya Raghuvanshi.

There is tremendous enthusiasm among all the shooters about the National Championship. There is an atmosphere of excitement in the academy regarding the preparation of these young athletes. The director said that the shooters have prepared themselves for this level through hard training and competitive spirit.
This achievement has brought a new inspiration in the sports world of Uttarakhand. Now all eyes are on the performance of these shooters in the National Championship.
