UP by-election: Political excitement is increasing regarding the by-elections to be held on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is busy campaigning for the by-elections. On Friday, he campaigned in Meerapur Assembly constituency of Muzaffarnagar. During this, he said, the nationalist public is going to choose NDA for good governance, security and development.

While addressing the election rally, the Chief Minister said, I often remember that once I had come towards Muzaffarnagar, during that time I was giving a speech. Then a young man from among the public was saying, between 2012 and 2017, a slogan was used and that slogan was 'Consider some goon is sitting in the vehicle with SP flag…' He also said, today I can say, wherever SP is seen, The daughter got scared there…you must have seen their exploits…. You must have seen them in Ayodhya and Kannauj, this is the new brand of Samajwadi Party…they have no respect for the people, these people are the ones who play with faith and compromise the security of their daughters and sisters. If you want to see their real values, then look at the social media handle of Samajwadi Party, what low level things they talk about. This shows the real character of Samajwadi Party.

Pointing towards former MP Kadir Rana, the CM said that the SP candidate is the mastermind of the riots. During the SP government, those accused of riots were called to the government residence and they were honoured. A cache of weapons was recovered, remember at that time the head of the SP government was honoring those rioters by calling them to the government residence.
