Manila in the Philippines was named the second cheapest flight destination in 2026 with an average return flight price of S$240 (US$180.50) to and from Singapore, according to a report by British news site Skyscanner.
Often called the “Pearl of the Orient,” Manila is the Philippines’ second-largest city by population, after Quezon City.
“A city buzzing with history, shopping and music,” Singapore-based Skyscanner describes.
“Wander Spanish-era streets, dive into bustling markets and taste Manila’s rising food scene, all wrapped in famously warm Filipino hospitality,” it recommends.
Thailand’s Phuket was the cheapest flight destination with return airfares of S$236.
Bali in Indonesia ranked third, followed by Vietnam’s Phu Quoc and Malaysia’s Kuching.
The report is based on economy return flights booked on Skyscanner between Jan. 1, 2025 and Oct. 31, 2025 for travel between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2026.
