What is special about the base variant ‘Smart’?

The base variant of the 2026 Tata Punch EV is available as ‘Smart’. Safety has been given special importance in this variant. It offers 6 airbags, which is considered important in this segment. Other features like Hill Hold Assist, High Beam Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX Child Seat Mount, Rear Parking Sensor, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and ABS along with EBD are offered. So even the base model is a strong choice in terms of safety. It is a good choice for those looking for a safe electric SUV on a budget.

What’s available in Adventure and Empowered trims?

The ‘Smart Plus’ variant has some additional features. It includes day-night IRVM, rear view parking camera and electronic parking brake. But some features are available only in the model with 40 kWh battery. The ‘Adventure’ trim offers Hill Descent Control, which helps when driving the car on slopes.

The ‘Empowered’ trim gets rain sensing wipers, rear wiper, defogger and 360 degree camera. The top model ‘Empowered+ S’ is also offered with auto dimming IRVM.

If you want more advanced features and more comfort, then the top variant may be a better option.
