NSUI worker burnt to death due to fire while burning effigy of CM Yogi
Lucknow. On Thursday, Congress workers and leaders protested fiercely and expressed anger against the state government over the death of a worker Prabhat Pandey during a Congress demonstration in Lucknow, the capital of UP. They burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the main gate of the party office. NSUI worker Akshat Singh got caught in the fire and got burnt.

Congressmen organized a tribute meeting at the party headquarters. National General Secretary Avinash Pandey, former MP and State Congress President Ajay Rai – former minister, MPs, MLAs and political leaders participated in the condolence meeting.
Before this, the police team reached the Congress office on Thursday morning to investigate the matter. According to DCP Central Raveena Tyagi, the statements of the caretaker of the Congress office will be recorded. CCTV footage will be confiscated. The people who called for the demonstration and those involved in it will be interrogated and everyone's statements will be recorded. Before this, the forensic team reached the Congress office late on Wednesday night. The forensic team compiled evidence here.
