The second daughter, Amrit Singh, is a prominent human rights lawyer and law professor at Stanford University. He has worked on many global human rights issues. The youngest daughter Daman Singh is a professional writer. He has written books such as The Last Frontier and Strictly Personal, which is a biography of his parents. She is married to Ashok Patnaik, who is an IPS officer.
