Congress has released the list of its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections. The party has fielded many veteran candidates from different states. From Telangana, Congress has given a second chance to senior leader and well-known lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi and has also made Vem Narendra Reddy its candidate.
Phulo Devi will contest elections from Chhattisgarh on behalf of Netam Party. Karamveer Singh Boudh has got the ticket in Haryana. Congress has declared Anurag Sharma as its candidate from Himachal Pradesh, while M. Christopher Tilak from Tamil Nadu will represent the party in the Rajya Sabha.
Candidates are now filing nomination papers. Congress is trying to establish a strong position on these seats. Elections are being held for a total of 37 seats. Voting for Rajya Sabha will take place on 16 March 2026.
