She completed her bachelor's degree in history in 2001. She received a scholarship from Oxford University in 2003 and studied MA in history.
How did the political journey begin? – Joined Aam Aadmi Party in 2013. In the year 2020, he was elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly who was an advisor to the government. He was given a place in the cabinet only when important leaders of Aam Aadmi Party were arrested. Currently, he holds important departments like Education and Public Works Department (PWD). Senior leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain are embroiled in legal battles. As a result, there was a leadership vacuum in the Aam Aadmi Party. Adishi is an alumnus of Oxford University. While working as an advisor to Vice Principal Manish Sisodia, she played an important role in redesigning school facilities, raising teaching standards and starting several initiatives. This was seen as an important step of the Arvind Kejriwal government.
When Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was in jail, Adish took over the responsibility of administration. And he took over many responsibilities of the party. During the Lok Sabha elections, he led the campaigns of Aam Aadmi Party along with Saurabh Bhardwaj. Apart from this, he became a famous person for the media. He recently drew attention to the Haryana-Delhi water issue by fasting. In this way, Adish, who emerged as an important leader of Aam Aadmi Party, has got a chance to become the Chief Minister. She said, “This is a very unfortunate day for Delhi. Adishi’s own family had fought to save terrorist Afzal Guru from the death penalty. They repeatedly filed mercy petitions to the President and said that Afzal Guru was innocent, he should not be hanged and he was a victim of a political conspiracy. A girl like Adishi from that family is going to become the Chief Minister of Delhi. She is a 'dummy Chief Minister'. She said, “God save the people of Delhi.”
Do Adishi's parents support terrorists? – A group was formed to raise voice for the release of Afzal Guru, the mastermind of the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. Adishi's mother Tirupta Vagi is the coordinator of the group. Father Vijay Singh was a member of that group. He has signed the mercy petition given to the President regarding Afzal Guru. In that letter, the names of these two persons are mentioned as Person 57 and 58. Apart from this, an old video of Adishi's mother speaking in support of Afzal Guru has also surfaced on social media.
