After the controversy related to offerings in Ram temple of Ayodhya, a major administrative change has been made in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Krishna Mohan has been appointed to the post of General Secretary of the Trust. Before this he was fulfilling his responsibilities as a member of the Trust. After the recent developments, his name has suddenly come into the headlines, because he has played an important role in the complaint lodged in the offering case. Journey from Hardoi to national level

Krishna Mohan is a resident of Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. He has been associated with social, religious and organizational activities for a long time. He has been recognized as an administrative officer as well as a disciplined organiser.

He completed his MSc in Geology from Lucknow University in the year 1970. After this he was selected in the Indian Forest Service and was allotted Maharashtra cadre.

Long experience in Indian Forest Service

During Forest Service, Krishna Mohan worked on many important posts in Maharashtra. He held many administrative responsibilities including Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Conservator of Forest. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience in forest conservation, natural resources management and administrative work.

After nearly four decades of service, he retired from the Indian Forest Service in 2012 and returned to his home district Hardoi.

Performed many important responsibilities in RSS

After retirement, Krishna Mohan became actively associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He held responsibilities at various levels in the organization. He held important positions like city union leader, district union leader and provincial union leader of Awadh province.

Due to his organizational experience and active participation in social work, he was recognized as an influential worker.

How to become a member of Ram Mandir Trust?

In September 2025, Krishna Mohan was made a member of the Trust on the place vacant after the death of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member Kameshwar Chaupal. His appointment was made with the consent of all the members in the trust meeting.

After this he started playing an active role in various activities and administrative decisions of the Trust. Now as General Secretary, he has been entrusted with the important responsibility of daily administration, coordination and operation of various schemes of the Trust.

Why did the name appear in the offering case?

Krishna Mohan’s name came into limelight in the Ram temple offering case when an FIR was registered in Ayodhya on the basis of his complaint. In the complaint, several people were accused of alleged irregularities in matters related to offerings.

After his complaint, the police registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation. This is the reason why Krishna Mohan’s name came up prominently even during the recent changes in the Trust.

Expectations increased with new responsibility

After becoming General Secretary, Krishna Mohan will face the challenge of making the administration of the Trust more transparent and systematic. After the recent controversy, his primary responsibilities will be to keep the faith of the devotees strong and to make other arrangements including management of offerings effective. His experience in both religious and administrative fields is being considered useful for him in this role.
