Who is gangster Mayank Singh? India brought weapons from Azerbaijan, used to supply weapons to Aman Sahu and Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Jharkhand The police have exposed an international arms supply network, which has shaken the security agencies. Investigation has revealed that state-of-the-art Glock pistols were being sent from Pakistan to the gang of deceased gangster Aman Sahu through drones. This was revealed by the state’s ATS during the interrogation of another key member of the gang, Sunil Meena alias Mayank Singh, who was caught from Azerbaijan and brought to India.

The layers of this entire network started unraveling when the police came to know that the consignment of 13 Glock pistols sent from Pakistan had reached the Aman Sahu gang. Six of these weapons have been recovered, while seven are still suspected to be with the criminals.
13 Glock pistols delivered from Pakistan via drone
According to the investigation of Jharkhand ATS, Aman Sahu gang had ordered Glock pistols through drones from arms smugglers based in Pakistan. A total of 13 Glock pistols were included in this consignment that came from the drone. So far six pistols have been recovered, two from Ranchi, one from Latehar, one from Palamu and two from other places. Police are searching for clues about the remaining seven weapons.
Mayank Singh was the main link
Police investigation revealed that payment for these weapons coming from Pakistan was being made through Hawala network. This entire operation was handled by the gang’s notorious shooter and logistics manager Mayank Singh. After being brought from Azerbaijan, Mayank Singh admitted during interrogation that he used to supply weapons to both the gangs of Aman Sahu and Lawrence Bishnoi.

Mayank Singh is actually a resident of Rajasthan. He has connections with Lawrence Bishnoi and Aman Sahu gang. After the death of Aman Sahu, he started operating the Aman Sahu gang. Mayank Sahu has been accused of many things like extortion, firing and threats. He has been continuously challenging the police by giving information about his activities on social media.

Big revelation in ATS chargesheet
Jharkhand ATS has made many shocking revelations in the charge sheet filed against Mayank Singh. It has been told in the charge sheet that Mayank Singh had prepared his international network and used to manage the arms supply in India while sitting abroad. He himself took responsibility for the firing on the ATS DSP and after the incident, he also proudly shared a message ‘Our stature is higher than the police’.
Interpol issued red corner notice
After Mayank Singh’s international connections were exposed, Jharkhand Police demanded Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice. In October 2024, he was arrested in Azerbaijan and brought to India after completion of the legal process. Aman Sahu, for whom this network worked, was killed in an encounter with Jharkhand Police in March this year.
