Who Is Nandan Nilekani: After the NEET exam paper leak incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the formation of a high-level task force under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani to improve the examination process. This task force will work towards making the examination system more reliable, transparent and based on advanced technology.
Prime Minister’s Important Announcement on Exam Reforms
On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi released a video message on social media announcing important measures for exam reforms. He said fast-track courts have already been set up and steps are being taken in Parliament to enact new laws with stricter provisions. However, he stressed on thinking of the future, so that the examination system is reliable and transparent and makes extensive use of technology.

A high-level working group headed by Nandan Nilekani
A high-level working group has been constituted to improve the examination process. A multi-disciplinary group comprising experts from various fields will help NTA (National Testing Agency) improve its examination system. The working group headed by Nandan Nilekani includes many experts.
Who is Nandan Nilekani?
Nandan Nilekani is a technology legend and co-founder of Infosys. He is also known as the architect of Aadhaar card system. His full name is Nandan Mohanrao Nilekani. Originally from Karnataka, Nilekani was born on 2 June 1955 in Bangalore. Nilekani holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay. In 1981 N. Nandan Nilekani was instrumental in co-founding Infosys with Narayan Murthy. The company later became one of the leading IT companies in the country. Nilekani served as the CEO and MD of Infosys from 2002 to 2007 and later became the Chairman of the company in 2017.
