Mumbai Mumbai. Former radio jockey and Instagram influencer Simran Singh allegedly committed suicide at his Gurugram residence, police said on Thursday (December 26). The 25-year-old influencer, who had more than 600,000 followers on Instagram, died on Wednesday, according to authorities. She was found hanging in her flat.
The incident came to light when a friend who lived with him in his Gurugram house informed the police. The investigation of the matter is still going on.

Simran was a popular face on Instagram. She often shared funny videos on the platform. The former RJ was also known for her vibrant presence on social media. According to media reports, she was currently working as a freelancer.
According to her Instagram bio, Simran was a resident of Jammu. She was famous as 'Heartbeat of Jammu'.
At the time of publishing this news, Simran had 6,83,000 followers on Instagram. She was very active on the platform. However, his last post was on December 13. In the post, she shared a reel wearing a peach Indo-western dress. The caption read, “Just a girl rocking the beach with endless laughs and her gown.”

The cause of his death is not yet known and Gurugram Police has started investigating the matter.
The door of Simran's house was reportedly locked from inside and no suicide note was found, officials said. After the post-mortem was completed, Simran's body was handed over to her family. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
