Why was Aarav afraid of Vidya Balan?
Actually, Akshay Kumar told that his son Aarav was afraid of Vidya Balan for almost six years. Narrating this incident, he said, “I was talking to my son Aarav and he told me that when he saw Bhool Bhulaiyaa for the first time, he started getting scared of Vidya Balan and this fear continued for about six years. Whenever Vidya came home, Aarav used to refuse to meet her. He would not even look into her eyes. In fact, he used to see a glimpse of ‘Manjulika’ in Vidya Balan, due to which he got very nervous.”
What did Akshay do to remove Aarav’s fear?
Akshay Kumar also told that he tried hard to remove this fear of son Aarav. He explained that Vidya Balan is not ‘Manjulika’ in real life, but a good and normal person. However, this did not have an immediate effect on Aarav and he was not ready to accept what he said. This was the reason why he remained afraid of Vidya Balan for almost six years.

While talking about his upcoming film Bhoot Bangla, Akshay said that it is quite different from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. According to him, Bhoot Bangla is a horror-fantasy film, which has entertainment along with fear and can be watched by children also. Whereas Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a psychological thriller, where the twist of the story was based on mental state. He also told that in the new film, the background of the character of ‘Vadhusur’ and his motive have been shown in detail, which makes it more interesting.
