Gen-Z created history in Nepal, Balen Shah defeated KP Sharma Oli. Then why was there a ban on celebrating?

Nepal Elections Result: Rashtriya Swatantra Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Balen Shah has won a big victory in the Nepal general election results. Balen Shah has been declared victorious from constituency 5 of Jhapa district. The special thing is that he defeated former Prime Minister of Nepal and well-known leader KP Sharma Oli by a margin of about 50,000 votes.

According to the final vote results, Balen Shah got a total of 68,348 votes, while KP Sharma Oli got around 18,000 votes in this constituency. Thus, there was a huge difference of about 50,000 votes between the two candidates and Balen Shah won by a landslide.

Ban on celebrating victory

After the election results, Rashtriya Swatantra Party has issued an important and important instruction to its winning candidates. The party has ordered all its elected candidates not to hold victory processions or any celebratory programs.

What else did DP Aryal say?

Rashtriya Swatantra Party Vice President and Federal Election Management Committee Coordinator DP Aryal said that the candidates who won in the recent elections should concentrate on their work instead of celebrating immediately. He said that the responsibility entrusted by the voters should be taken seriously and this is not the time to celebrate.

DP Aryal also said that this election was held in special circumstances and many young men and women of the Gen Z age group sacrificed their lives. He said that this sorrow has not been forgotten yet, so it is time to take responsibility instead of celebrating.

He further said that the people have given their mandate with the aim of eliminating corruption and establishing good governance. Therefore, the priority of the winning candidates should be to fulfill the expectations of the voters and provide better governance.

Advice to avoid showy programs

Aryal also directed that the party’s winning candidates should avoid ostentatious programs like wearing flower garlands or taking out motorcycle processions. He said that at the counting place the supporters are only allowed to say Namaste.

We should remember the sacrifices of our leaders

DP Aryal, on behalf of party president Ravi Lamichhane and senior leader Balen Shah, also gave a message that all the elected candidates should thank their supporters, but should not hold any victory procession, demonstration or rally. He reiterated that many youth and children have been affected in this election and the leaders should remember their sacrifices and start their work responsibly.
