Champions Trophy 2025: Team India on Saturday announced its 15-member squad for next month's Champions Trophy. Indian captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced the team's squad in a press conference. This press conference was scheduled at 12:30 pm, but it could not happen. According to a report in 'Dainik Jagran', Gambhir wanted Hardik Pandya to be made the vice-captain of the team for the Champions Trophy, but Agarkar and Rohit wanted Gill to get a chance for this post. Along with this, Gambhir wanted to take Sanju Samson as wicketkeeper. But even in this matter, he did not get along with Agarkar and Rohit, who wanted to use Rishabh Pant as wicketkeeper.
