NSD Director Chittaranjan Tripathi gave an interview to PTI. Chittaranjan has done theatre, is a good actor, has also worked a lot on TV. In his interview, he has talked about Shahrukh Khan’s journey from an ordinary person to becoming a superstar. Chittaranjan talked about his deep relationship with Shahrukh during the theatre. He also said that he first became a theater artist and later a superstar. All this is the result of Shahrukh’s hard work and the reason for this is his dramatic roots. Chittaranjan Tripathi said, ‘Shah Rukh, who started his career with plays, later became a superstar, that is why I consider him a ‘nautankiwala’ first and later a superstar.’

Chittaranjan Tripathi further said that his journey from being a common man to becoming special is similar to the journey of Shahrukh Khan, although both are not the same. Being the director of NSD, he is still associated there while Shahrukh Khan has got global recognition.

Chittaranjan also told that Shahrukh Khan’s work in the film Donkey was such that people liked it very much. The year 2023 was very special for him and the director was personally happy that one of his students is at great heights today. Chittaranjan Tripathi told that Shahrukh had the confidence from the beginning to do something and he proved it with his hard work.
