US President Donald Trump has returned from his visit to China. America had great expectations from this tour. Trump thought that he would persuade Chinese President Xi Jinping against Iran, but it did not happen. His attempt to take China away from Russia also failed. The President of Russia is visiting China this month. During this period, many important agreements will be signed between the two countries. Which will be a big answer from China to Donald Trump. Yes, one thing has become clearly clear from Trump’s visit that America is now not only ready to bow before China, but is also ready to agree with it on some issues.

The biggest example of this is the issue of Taiwan’s security. When China looked at the US President for supporting Taiwan, Trump immediately gave a statement that he does not want to see Taiwan become independent. China became happy with his statement, but America’s special friend Japan is also disappointed with Taiwan, although the President of Taiwan, in his familiar style, told Trump and Jinping that they do not need American support, because their country is already and will remain a sovereign nation.

Trump’s visit told the whole world that now the Quad, a group of four countries formed on American initiative, is about to cease to exist. Also, America no longer needs India much. Earlier, America used to help India at every level to suppress China, but now it is seeing it as a rival and hence, it is putting all its energy into subduing India.

There was a time when America considered China as its biggest rival and all its governments prepared India as an alternative against China, that is why America was helping India to become a stronger economic power than China. The stronger India was strategically and commercially, the less China’s influence would have been, but Donald Trump has now changed America’s diplomacy. Their goal is not to stop China but to stop India, so that it cannot become an economically prosperous nation and cannot stand in competition with it like China.

The change in American policy should be considered no less than a setback for India’s diplomacy. At the same time, one should not be under the illusion that America will still strengthen it compared to China. America first kept its market open to China. Supported his trade policy. As a result, China became commercially strong in the whole world, then America realized that it had dug a hole for itself, so it tried to take India forward but now it itself is saying that it does not want to see India standing as a rival.

India has understood the American policy, that is why it is making free trade agreements with all the countries and organizations of the world, but a difficulty is going to arise for India, that is the alliance being formed by America and China in the form of G-2. America wants that whether it is the United Nations or any other forum, whatever decisions have to be taken, the world’s two biggest superpowers, China and America, should take them together.

The whole world is keeping an eye on this effort of Trump. Now it remains to be seen how much China gets trapped in this trap thrown by him, that is why Trump has left the path of confrontation and accepted China as a superpower. He wants China to maintain complete silence on the issue of Iran. The increasing closeness between China and America will not be very good for India, because China is already helping Pakistan in every field and America is also encouraging Pakistan. Russia is also gradually moving closer to Pakistan.

In such a situation, India will have to sharpen its diplomacy further. On the other hand, Russian President Vladimir Putin is coming to China from 19 to 20 May. Russia is going to sign many important agreements with China. Now it remains to be seen how much influence Trump has left on China and how much he can undo the G-2 proposal given by him. Major geopolitical issues like US-Iran tension, Ukraine war and Taiwan dispute will be discussed here between the two countries.

Since Trump himself has warned Taiwan not to declare independence under Chinese pressure, China would also like the Russian President to give an open statement with it on the issue of Taiwan, so that it can annex Taiwan in the future. This visit of Putin is going to take place on the 25th anniversary of the China-Russia friendship treaty. In such a situation, Putin can also make some big announcements to please Jinping.

Now if we talk about the Quad, a group consisting of India, America, Japan and Australia, America is now bent on neutralizing it under Chinese pressure. China will benefit from this, because it does not want this organization to become strong to compete with it. He is already winking at Japan and threatening war. As far as India is concerned, it is trying its best to weaken Pakistan by supporting it. It remains to be seen how much land Putin prepares for India in China.
