Why General Hospital Fans Think Marco Will Die & Leave

The week started on a dramatic note on General Hospitalleading fans to believe that Marcoplayed by Adrian Broadwill die and leave the show. Given how the episode turned out, is there any possibility for that to actually happen?

Here are the details on the situation.

Will Adrian Anchondo’s Marco die and leave General Hospital?

Currently, there is no official news about Adrian Anchondo’s Marco dying and leaving General Hospital. While his character’s fate is in the balance, rumors about the actor leaving the show have caught attention quite recently. However, there is no credible information to support those claims. Nonetheless, the March 23 episode has not stopped fans from worrying about the character’s fate.

For context, after Lucas learnt that Sidwell and Marco were doing something illegal, he confronted his boyfriend. Since then, Marco has been trying to right the wrong by not only working to fix his relationship with Lucas but also stealing Britt’s Huntington’s medication to help her flee Port Charles.

Marco made several attempts to snag a few vials of the medicines and came close to getting caught. One time, when he tried to steal the medicines, Ross Cullum caught him with them. But Marco reasoned that it was his turn to give Britt her dose. Although Cullum appeared to believe him, the WSB director later learnt that it was actually Pascal’s turn.

Meanwhile, after many attempts, Marco finally stole the medicines and handed them over to Lucas. Pascal noticed the missing medicines, informed Cullum, and tried to blame Lucas for them. In response, Cullum said that he’ll take care of the situation. Many fans assumed that he would approach Lucas. In a surprising twist, during the March 20 episode, Cullum visited Marco at Alexis’ office when he was alone. Unknown to Marco, Cullum was holding a knife.

This week, during the Monday episode, the show revealed that Cullum had stabbed Marco in his chest and left him on the floor to bleed out. Throughout the episode, he was seen struggling to get up, but failed to do so. This has led many fans to believe that he will die and leave the show.

To make things worse, rumors that Anchondo was leaving the show surfaced online after his recent Instagram post. The actor recently celebrated his first anniversary on the show. Eva LaRue, the actress who played his mother, Natalia, ended her comment, saying, “On to the next great thing!” (via Soap Opera Digest). This also added to the speculation that he may be leaving the show. However, as mentioned before, there are no official announcements to support the rumors.

Furthermore, Tuesday’s spoilers suggest that Alexis will find Marco in her office. This could mean that Marco may receive treatment for his wounds. Although it remains to be seen whether he will make it through.
