New Delhi : In June this year, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore reached the International Space Station for an eight-day mission to the International Space Station. Then, due to a fault in the vehicle, the vehicle had to be brought to the ground empty due to which both the passengers got stuck in the station itself. Later, due to a fault in the space, the space had to be vacated, leaving two passengers stranded at the station.
Meanwhile, a SpaceX spacecraft flew to the space station, but the two passengers did not return. A few days ago, NASA had announced that the possible return of both the ships would be by March 2025, but now NASA has postponed it again. The question is why is NASA delaying it? Spacecraft takes off to space station
The Boeing Starliner was launched on June 5 and faced many problems even before its launch. However, the problems encountered after docking could not be resolved from Earth. The spacecraft returned to Earth without Williams and Wilmore. Both have been on the space station since then and NASA now says they will not be able to return until March 2025.

Both passengers were then given responsibilities on the space station. On September 22, Sunita Williams was appointed Space Station Commander (NASA Division) based on her experience and background and thus assumed responsibility for the entire station. Butch Wilmore was also a part of NASA's experiments running on the space station. Since then, both are doing very well and NASA is closely monitoring their health. However, there has been some speculation regarding the health of Sunita Williams. But NASA rejected these and Sunita Williams also celebrated Christmas in the space station.
Williams is a very experienced astronaut
SpaceX's Dragon Crew launches once every six months and carries two astronauts and brings back two more astronauts in return. Now the Dragon spacecraft had to send back four astronauts. Of these, two were from NASA and two were Russian passengers.
Let us tell you that Williams is a very experienced astronaut and has spent a total of 571 days in space including all the space travels so far. Along with this, at one time he also held the record for spending the most time in space through a spacewalk, and the record for spending the most continuous time in space is in the name of Valery Polyakov, who has spent 437 consecutive days in space.
