BCCI wrote on social media, “Update: Mr. Jasprit Bumrah has not fully recovered from his viral illness. He is not available for selection for the 3rd Test to be held in Mumbai.”
New Zealand captain Latham also confirmed the changes at the time of the toss. “We are going to bat. It is a quite good surface, hopefully we will score some runs again and put a bit of pressure later on. Definitely focused on this game. We have learned this before the second Test in Pune. What we did in Bangalore was fantastic, but we had to immediately shift our focus to the second Test and nothing changed.
