Why is the election of Bengal the election of India?

By Varsha Pargat

Voting took place in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry. People voted enthusiastically in all the three states and the people there have created a record of their own. The voting percentage is also big and it is a good sign for our democracy. As per estimates, BJP seems to be coming back in Assam. There is doubt in Kerala and Puducherry. Among the elections in these states, the elections in Assam were very important for us and now the elections in West Bengal are also important for us.

Both Assam and West Bengal share their borders with Bangladesh. We all know how the Congress government worked to settle Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslims in Assam before the BJP government came to power. Ever since the BJP government came and Himanta Biswa Sharma became the Chief Minister, infiltrators are being stopped in Assam and we have seen a change. Muslim population is more in Assam but the people there who stood up against them from Bangladesh is remarkable. It is important to keep Assam safe because it is from Assam that the doors to the North-Eastern states open, hence it was very important to have a nationalist government there and it is so even today.
The way the people of Assam came forward and voted openly, it shows that the people there fought this election for their survival and took part in the elections after understanding it.

Talking about West Bengal, we all agree about how important it is to change the government there. All nationalist people are thinking about this and expressing their concern. It seems that the whole of India is fighting the elections of “Bengal”.

In West Bengal, where nationalism and nationalist ideas originated, there are many questions raised today on the security of Hindus. From Bankim Chandra Chatterjee to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, many such nationalist leaders gave direction to India and immortalized their names in history.

Along with this, Bengal has witnessed the biggest tragedy in history. West Bengal is witness to the terrible and inhuman atrocities of partition. Bengal also witnesses Direct Action Day. Bengal of art, culture, patriotism and intellectuals. But another heart-breaking truth of Bengal is how the Left and Congress ruled Bengal after independence.

There was a Leftist government in West Bengal for about 30-35 years and these Leftists carried out China’s agenda well. He changed the mentality of about three-four generations. We also know very well what happened during the tenure of Congress after independence and we are seeing where Mamata’s government has brought Bengal to a standstill in the last 15 years.

There is no talk of development in Bengal and no one wants to invest in Bengal. We all know what happened with Tata Nano. Mamata tried her best to show that Bengal is a separate state, keeping the Left and Congress behind. The people of Bengal kept getting separated from the ideology of ‘nationalism’.

The people of Bengal are considered intellectuals who are also called noble people and they also did not allow nationalist ideas to flourish. That is why the government of Left, Congress and Mamata continued to be formed for so many years.

West Bengal also shares its border with Bangladesh and that is why both the states of Bengal and Assam are very important for us from security point of view. That is why BJP is putting its full emphasis on Bengal.

Even today, the Hindu city wakes up remembering the violence that Mamata and TMC had created in the previous elections in Bengal. And keeping this in mind, the convoy of CRPF armored vehicles has reached Bengal. The Election Commission has deployed more than 2400 companies i.e. more than 2.5 lakh security personnel. Which is considered to be the biggest security cover so far. CRPF troops are taking out marches in various sensitive areas including Bhawanipur in Kolkata to reassure the general public. So that free and fair elections can be held.

Keeping all these circumstances in mind, the voters of Bengal will decide the secure future of India and Bengal. Still, if the people of Bengal do not wake up, then they themselves will be responsible for the difficult days to come.
